She gained recognition as the co-host of the popular Sky Pick TV show, "Paranormal Captured," and has made significant contributions as a producer and/or director for acclaimed programs such as "Destinations of the Damned with Zak Bagans", "Destination Fear," "Most Terrifying Places," "Paranormal Lockdown," "Hotel Paranormal," and three seasons of "In Search of the Paranormal," among many other notable shows and documentaries.
MJ's fascination with the paranormal began at a young age when she discovered her inherited psychic abilities from her mother. This unique gift, combined with the logical mindset instilled in her by her military father, created a powerful synergy that has propelled her success as a paranormal investigator. Her initial foray into the supernatural realm arose when she became convinced that the home she was living in was haunted, prompting her quest for understanding and answers. To date, MJ has investigated hundreds of locations across the globe, with her research spanning the UK, USA, and Europe, as well as the haunting landscapes of South Africa and Zimbabwe, in pursuit of the extraordinary and the unknown.
An accomplished lecturer, MJ travels the world to speak at paranormal conventions, imparting her extensive knowledge of investigative techniques, as well as covering a diverse array of related topics. She has established herself as a popular keynote speaker, recognized for her professionalism and contribution to the paranormal field, earning her a place among the top female paranormal investigators internationally.
In addition to her investigative pursuits, in 2011, MJ founded "Sage Paranormal," a company specializing in paranormal events and experiences based in Warwickshire, UK. In 2016, she introduced the "Sage Paracon," which quickly became the premier paranormal convention in the UK. In 2022, she launched “Sage Paracon USA”, an intimate paranormal convention which takes place in Virginia, USA. Her extensive offerings also include "Sage Dark Departures," which encompass a variety of themed experiences, from engaging weekend getaways exploring the paranormal to her 10-night paranormal holidays, as well as her paranormal cruise that transports participants to haunted locations around the world.
MJ is also an accomplished author with two published works: "Never Goodbye, Only Goodnight: Lessons From The Afterlife" and "Beneath The African Sky: Supernatural Africa." Both titles are available through Amazon and various bookstores worldwide. Currently, she is diligently working on her third book, set for release this summer.
